Lightning protection system is a higher risk of using shielded ?

 

The answer is No. 

 

If TN-S system , the system as unshielded twisted pair system as safe . Poor grounding or poor distribution system will affect a variety of copper cabling systems. 

If TNC , or TN-C system . In PE (N) line will appear current .

If the shielding system on the shield and the reference potential will be current. 

If you are using unshielded twisted pair system, there will be current on the reference potential .

 

When lightning occurs , the risk of damage to the shield system  is much lower than unshielded twisted-pair system .
